Future Young Talent offers a captivating workshop program centered around painting, abstraction, design, and architecture. The program strives to equip participants with the insights needed to critically comprehend design, art, and architecture. Beyond imparting knowledge, it introduces a method for designing, fostering a holistic approach to creativity.
This project tries notions to understand, with a critic focus, art and design but also “a method to design”.
“I notice how hard it is to bring young people out of the school thinking and learning method, into something more abstract or surreal.”
“Being able to design abstraction through a process is completely different from drawing lines casually.”
“One of the key parts of my workshop is to give “abstract thoughts” to kids which are used to learn how to write on the line and to stay inside the stripes. They can’t create something if they are not able to break the lines, to imagine how to go into an abstract world.”
︎Una delle parti fondamentali del mio workshop è dare “pensieri astratti” ai ragazzi che sono abituati a imparare a scrivere sulla linea ea rimanere dentro le righe. Non possono creare qualcosa se non sono in grado di rompere le linee, di immaginare come entrare in un mondo astratto.
“Different exercises allow me to act in different fields and make them accessible even to those who feel extraneous to the world of art and design, but rather creating a direct relationship that allows them to manage the production of art pieces with a process and knowledge. “
︎Esercizi diversi mi permettono di agire in ambiti diversi e di renderli accessibili anche a chi si sente estraneo al mondo dell'arte e del design, creando invece un rapporto diretto che gli permetta di gestire la produzione di opere d'arte con un processo e una conoscenza.
“These exercises are made of provocations to destabilize the ordinary way of working in the class. For example, when I start the lesson of self-portrait I always begin with this leaves exercise. A kind of abstraction process made of different phases. It demonstrates that through mechanical phases we arrive at an abstract work of meaning. It is interesting to think about what the meaning is.”
“It’s made of a process, is made by you, by your decision and I’s not made by the case. You will not arrive at the same line if you don’t start from the real leaf.”
︎Questi esercizi sono fatti di provocazioni per destabilizzare il modo ordinario di lavorare in classe. Ad esempio, quando inizio la lezione di autoritratto comincio sempre con questo esercizio delle foglie. Una sorta di processo di astrazione fatto di diverse fasi. Dimostra che attraverso fasi meccaniche si arriva a un'opera astratta di significato. È interessante pensare a quale sia il significato. È fatto di un processo, è fatto da te, dalla tua decisione e io non dal caso. Non arriverai alla stessa linea se non parti dalla foglia vera.

Her work is carried out in Italy and abroad, through collaborations and processes, that often starts from photography to then move up to canvas and other more material fabrics.
